The RTE Equipment Supervision Department in Lyon will open in December 2026. Bringing together part of the activities of the Telecom and Remote-Control Assistance Centre, and those of the Substation Groups, it ensures the proper functioning of the infrastructure in real time, i.e. 24 hours a day. If a fault is detected, the room is informed 24 hours a day via an alarm, carries out remote diagnostics, carries out tele-operations and, if necessary, contacts the on-site teams to carry out troubleshooting.
